Controversial Singer Easter Akoth popularly known as Akothee has been trolled over her last weekend performance.
The mother of five has fire back at Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua over his criticism of her performances, which Mutua described as ‘filthy’.
On Sunday, Mutua lashed out at Akothee over what he described as “filthy and stupid stunts”. This came after some ‘dirty’ photos of the musician during a performance went viral on social media
“Kenya has got talent but as long as we keep celebrating this kind of madness, our entertainment industry will never grow. Akothee is talented but the filthy and stupid stunts she has to pull to remain relevant should concern all of us.”
“What’s worse is to see grown-up men and women celebrating this scatological obscenity in the name of entertainment,” said Mutua.
The singer went ahead to post a picture of her half naked on instagram dancing to one of her songs even after the trolling.
