Joho Not A Scapegoat Of Drug Dealing, DCI Clears Him

Following a narrative over the weekend with a letter doing rounds on social media indicating that the Mombasa county governor Hassan Joho was on a wanted list of the international police over illegal drug trade, Directorate of Criminal Investigations have come out to clear the air.

In a letter dated 14th February, DCI informs Joho not to the Interpol letter serious because it’s forged and intended to spread malice and defame the coast based governor.

Interpol also clarified that they have never held Joho accountable to any drug dealing case, Interpol arrived at the decision to dismiss the document after it was forwarded to the its General Secretariat who said the legal affairs office had not issued such a document adding that it was forged.

However, this came after some Jubilee politicians led by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Nandi Governor Stephen Sang had accused the county boss of pedaling drugs in Mombasa prompting him to file a law suit against them.
