A Kisii woman, or let’s say a mother from hell is today a guest of the state at Kisii Central Police Station after being arrested for stabbing her 8 year old step child with a hot knife for allegedly stealing 50 shillings.
The Child is currently fighting for her life at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The unfortunate incident was reported to have taken place at Mosocho Village.
The suspect, 24, committed the incident after she tied the helpless child on her bed using a rope and began torturing her.
Her father is a boda boda operator and was away when the incident happened. He separated with the girl’s mother two years ago and married the suspect.
The father asked the step mother where the girl was because he had not seen her for two days and that is when he discovered what had happened. He rushed her to the hospital.
The hospital said that the girl also sustained serious injuries on her thighs and would be admitted until a surgeon attended to her.
