Singer Akothee has been trending on social media for all the wrong reasons.
The Sweet Love hitmaker, also known as Madam Boss to her millions of followers, over the weekend shut down Paparemo Beach in Malindi.
Akothee, gave an electrifying performance leaving fans yearning for more. Coast-based singer Nyota Ndogo also showed up to support her fellow artiste. Akothee’s parents were also there to support her.
But hell broke loose when photos of Akothee doing what she loves best on stage surfaced. Clad in a white costume, nude tights, and high heel white boots, just like Rihanna, the singer pulled several stunts on stage leaving many awed. She understands what her audience want.
The pictures ignited mixed reactions with more seeming to support Akothee compared to those who called her out. Some even defended her saying she was not different from Cardi B, Rihanna among other superstars who dress skimpily. Some of the comments include:

Akothee later responded to critics by sharing a video having a chat with a group of white people and captioned it:

She also posted a photo with her father, captioning it with how her father is her number one supporter.
