NRM General Miguna Miguna to make a grand comeback to Kenya

The NRM general Miguna Miguna is set to come to Kenya.

The ex-Nairobi gubernatorial candidate has been spending his time in exile. The general was forcefully exiled after their swearing in of people’s president, Raila Odinga. The opposition leader, Raila Odinga, and ODM lawyers represented Miguna during his case of citizenship.

Miguna Miguna was deported to Dubai on March 2018  aboard an Emirates flight, despite court orders for his unconditional production in court the next day.  Attempts by Miguna’s lawyers, James Orengo, and Nelson Havi, to serve the orders on Immigration officials at the airport were violently forestalled by police.

The government team comprising interior and super CS Fred Matiang’i, National Intelligence Service director Philip Kameru, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett and Immigration PS Gordon Kihalangwa is understood to have concluded that allowing Miguna into the country on the strength of his national identity card was a bad idea.

It is close to a year now in exile and he hinted that he might be coming very soon in April.

“Pursuant to rights vested upon me by God, my mother, the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, all applicable laws and ORDERS issued by Justices Mwita, Kimaru, Odunga, Aburili and Wakiaga, I hereby announce that I will return in April 2019 on a date to be announced,” he tweeted.
