Miguna Miguna announces when he will return to Kenya

Self-styled deported National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna could be back in the country if the latest revelation is anything to go by. Based on court order issued by the Milimani Law Courts in February 2018, the firebrand politician confirmed to his followers on Wednesday, February 14, he would return in April.

“Pursuant to rights vested upon me by God, my mother, the Constitution of Kenya 2010, all applicable laws and orders issued by Justices Mwita, Kimaru, Odunga, Aburili and Wakiaga, I hereby announce that I will return in April, 2019 on a date to be announced,”he announced.

His tribulations and woes with the Jubilee government started when he presided over coronation of National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga as the peoples’ president on January 30, 2018. The government declared him person non grata and was quickly deported to Canada on February 6, 2018, after back and forth coupled with arrest and detention.

Despite sneaking back, Miguna was forcibly bundled into a Dubai bound plane in March, 2018 evening despite protests from his lawyers. In the emotional message later the following day, the combative barrister claimed he was drugged and he woke up only to find himself in Dubai in company of but state officials who had traveled with him.
