It is 14th February, the Valentine’s day. A day where everyone is trying to outdo each other by coming up with the most creative way to show that they love their other half.
Perhaps we could have seen the most creative Valentine’s surprise of the day. And it all goes to Citizen TV’s Waihiga Mwaura. The award winning journalist decided to surprise his wife Joyce Omondi at her work station.
Waihiga arrived at Switch TV, where his wife works with a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruits. But he was not alone, he was clad with a team of camera men who filmed the whole scenario.

His wife, who looked shocked, asked him what he had gone to do there. She was however unaware that the whole activity was being watched by millions of people.
“I just wanted to tell and show her how much I love her,” Mwaura said later.
