There have been calls from Kenyans for our security forces to use CCTV Cameras to identify criminals. There are many cameras mounted across Nairobi CBD. Unfortunately, these very expensive cameras have not been able to unravel serious crimes like the murder of Chris Msando and Jacob Juma.
But the recent terror attack have unleashed the wrath of CCTV. In last month’s attack at Dusit D2 Hotel, CCTV cameras captured the moment the suicide bomber detonated his bomb killing himself and at least six other people.
And now the cameras have unmasked the face of the suspect behind the explosion at Odeon Junction on 26th January. The DCI has asked the public to help identify the suspect.
