Coke Studio Africa starts off with sassy Nandy and Nigeria’s Mr. Love, Skales.
Coke Studio Africa has been in in the front line in supporting the African music. The TV show which first premiered in October 2013 has seen artists from all over Africa coming together to create an African sound.
The TV show has created unity and has made collaborations from African artists possible. The 2019 Coke studio Africa is here on the eve of valentines.
The first performance in 2019 was Tanzania’s queen, Nandy and Nigeria’s Skales. The two performed each other’s rendition of their songs and are working on a joint original song. Harmonize also appeared on the show which was a surprise to one of her social media fans who always show love in his music. Harmonize was the first artist to be signed under Diamond’s WCB record label.
Nairobi’s finest, Naiboi, also performed his song, 2 in 1 which was a massive hit in 2018.
The TV show will see Kenyan acts like Khaligraph Jones, Nadia and other musicians bringing the best out of them and their songs with other African artists.
