Kenya Premier League holders Gor Mahia FC and their rivals AFC Leopards will renew their rivalry this weekend at Moi International Stadium Kasarani.
AFC Leopards fans love it whenever they win the derby. Some prefer beating Gor Mahia to winning a silverware. The fans are yet to AFC Leopards beat Gor Mahia since March 2016.
In the match played at Moi Kasarani Lamine Diallo scored the lone goal of the clash to end Gor Mahia’s 34-match unbeaten streak in the local league. Since then, the two sides have faced off seven times in all competition.
In those seven, Gor Mahia has won five while one has ended in a draw and while the other meeting was in the Sportpesa exhibition match. The last five Kenya premier League meeting have seen Gor Mahia collect four wins and a draw.
The Champions have netted eight goals while they have conceded just two goals.
