Georgina Rodriguez, who has been in a steady relationship with one of the greatest footballers of all-time Cristiano Ronaldo for the past few years, has now cleared the air on their relationship status. Many tabloids have speculated that the pair have been engaged for a while now and are soon set to be married with various potential destinations being mooted on the back pages.
But in a stunning turn of events, Georgina in an interview with Hola! magazine has revealed that the pair are NOT engaged and Cristiano has never popped up the question. Georgina also stated that marriage was not completely out of the equation and she was hoping to be called Mrs. Cristiano Ronaldo in the near future by the whole world.
Georgina said: “Every couple wants to get married and I would love to personally. Right now we have priorities and a lot of responsibilities, although in the future it would be marvelous to become Cristiano’s wife.”
Georgina also faced some personal tragedy recently with the passing away of her father and she revealed how Cristiano supported her through this ordeal despite never meeting her Dad.
She added, “My partner is always by my side. I have his support every day. He is helping me a lot in these moments of sadness and I’m trying to be strong for the children and for him. They are the happiness of my life.”
It seems along with being a near perfect footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo is a near perfect boyfriend as well!
