Its a harsh world where the innocent are preyed on by criminal minds mercilessly.Police in Migori County are hunting for a man who allegedly defiled and impregnated a class one girl at Kindu Primary School in Awendo.
The 13-year-old pupil who is said to be mentally unstable, tested positive on Wednesday at a local health facility.
According to a medical report seen by the area Chief Ezekiel Kokeyo, the girl is about one month pregnant.
The officer vowed to hunt for the man who is still at large.
“We have launched a manhunt for the suspect and we will move around with the girl to help us identify him so that he can be arrested and charged for defilement,” Mr. kokeyo told reporters.
In other shocking crime news, police in Ol Kalou in Nyandarua County are holding a man suspected to have brutally murdered his father over Ksh.6000.
Daniel Kamau Maina, 38, is reported to have attacked his father with a jembe(machete) and later a knife.
The suspect accused his father John Wanjohi of being ‘rude, irresponsible and arrogant’.
“He talked to me badly as I was asking for my money and then hit me, so I took a jembe and attacked him and then went for the knife,” said Kamau.
He even added that he had no regrets for his actions and laughed off the killing.
