If you thought cases involving millennial pastors taking advantage of young girls will end with Gospel singer Ben Githae after he was exposed by his baby mama, sorry, the lid has just been taken off.
After Githae, came revelations that Gospel-Secular artist, if there is anything like that, DK Kwenye Beat and Hopekid had infected a woman with STD, and now there is the infamous pastor Ken Gomeri.
Well, the Director of Public Prosecutions on Tuesday, February 5, asked the public to provide information that may lead to the arrest of the youthful Kasarani based preacher. “If you have information and evidence relating to the same please send it to publiccomplaints@odpp.go.ke,” tweeted the DPP.
“Please note that you are not being asked to investigate BUT to provide information that will lead to investigations,” a second tweet read. This was after a Twitter user by the name Purity Nduta, in a series of tweets on Sunday, February 3, accused the pastor of having sexually harassed her together with her friends while in school.
“The first red light was on the same night (June 2016), he called and asked to come over to our house at around midnight, but, it is Pasi, we did not think much about it. Next morning, we leave, so it is Ken, his friend (man) and three of us girls, going to Nyeri in his infamous Subaru,” she wrote .
“We all sleep in our jeans and belts and sweaters but now, he wants to cuddle, and he starts the ‘you’ are not supposed to sleep with jeans’ talk. They start talking about fivesomes and the ones he had watched in Mombasa, it is clear that him and his friend have done this before,” reads another tweet.
Purity also lined up some of the alleged victims who revealed their horrifying ordeals in the hands of the preacher causing outrage on the inter-webs.
Many of them questioned the DPP and DCI’s silence even as more girls came out claiming they had once fallen prey of the preacher who seems to be a smooth operator. According to the girls, most of them knew the preacher while in school as he was well known with visiting school for weekend challenge and his preaching rather persuasive skills were adored.
