An appalling video has been posted on social media from West Ham’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
The issue of racial abuse in football and in Britain at large is now a raging debate.
It’s become incredibly clear in recent weeks and months that racism and intolerance is still fervent in British society.
Just a few months ago at Chelsea, fans hurled disgraceful racist abuse at Man City’s Raheem Sterling.

However some football fans are beginning to take action when they encounter abuse.
Accordingly, a football fan at the London Stadium on Monday night recorded a West Ham supporter screaming horrendous abuse at Liverpool’s Salah.
While the fan’s identity wasn’t revealed, the voice of a man was clearly heard saying:
Inshallah you f****** Muslim. F****** Muslim c***. F*** off!
Considering the distance between the fans and the players at the London Stadium, it’s unclear if Salah heard the abuse as he was preparing to take a Liverpool corner.
It’s also unclear whether the stewards around the side of the pitch heard the abuse.
However, what’s revealed in the video is that several stewards were close to the fans.
It’s also evident from the video that plenty of people near to the incident must have heard this disgusting person run their mouth.
Will West Ham and the FA step in to take action in weeding out this abusive West Ham supporter?
