Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, on Wednesday, issued a new notice to students involved in the university course application process.
The CS announced two important deadlines; Saturday, February 23, 2019, for KUCCPS university course applications and May 2019, for selected students to apply for the inter-varsity change.
First, Amina disclosed that she had directed KUCCPS, the body mandated with university applications, to open its online application system for students.
“To ensure that we do not lose time in the selection process, I have this morning directed KUCCPS to open its online application system for this exercise.
“To ensure students join courses and institutions of their choice, a one-month window will be opened in May 2019 for the selected students to apply for inter-institutional transfers,” she stated.
Amina further explained that her directive was aimed at allowing students to realign their university choices with their performance.
