Previously missing Mildred Odira who worked as a switchboard operator for Foresight Company domiciled at the Nation Centre and owned by the media group was last seen by security guards on January 29 at her residence in Kariobangi South when she boarded a taxi en route to hospital.
After the devastating search for the lady,Ms Odira’s sister Maureen Onyango confirmed that they found her body at the mortuary
“Millie is no more, we have found her at the City Mortuary,”
From the looks of things there happen to be wounds suggesting the innocesent lay was brutally murdered in cold blood then left on the roa where a vehicle ran over her crushing her bones.
Thedemise has shocke and angered Kenyans who are now throwing frustrations at the DCI to curb the taxi driver who they fel should be held responsible.
@DCI_Kenya and @NPSOfficial_KE should vet taxi drivers. Vulnerable people should, where possible, avoid getting into unmarked taxis. Case of Mildred Odira being “driven to hospital” only to be killed should be an eye-opener about how, like bodaboda, taxis are being used to kill pic.twitter.com/nFbuQQKSu8

people usually fear some nduthi guys with their clandestine behaviours. hit men! now taxi guys are on that radar. this taxi man that carried Mildred odira should be squeezed hard to give the full account of what transpired up to city mortuary. NMG should assist the family.

A lady goes missing, next thing is her body at City Mortuary. We go ballistic online, forget and wait for another to disappear. The case of the disappearance and murder of Mildred Odira should open our eyes. The taxi driver to ferried her should provide answers. This is sad.
