Manchester United provides updates on dependable duo

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided injury updates on Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial ahead of weekend’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.

The caretaker boss is optimistic the duo will be available for the Sunday’s away test against Claude Puel’s men.  Martial picked up an injury during a training session and ended up missing United’s 2-2 draw with Burnley. It’s during the game when his teammate Pogba appeared to sustain a knock but he could be available for selection this Sunday.

We’ve not had a proper session since the game, so hopefully, both of them can get through that,” said Solskjaer.

I don’t think there’s anything with Paul. Anthony has done some rehab work, so he will try a session today, so I would imagine he would be available to be involved. He seemed happy yesterday,” he added.

Marcos Rojo remains sidelined but fellow center-back Chris Smalling was fit enough to be on the bench on Tuesday, following his lay-off with a toe problem.
