The path taken in the daily race of life sometimes can be vague enough to frustrate a humanbeing but as long as kindness exists there is hope in all situations.

A school board chairman had to help a father figure compose himself upon sheding tears uncontrollably on seeing his daughters rock uniforms to school after many attempts to further their education was shuttered by schools locking gates on them due to lack of school fees.

Mungu Tusma 52 was more than overwhelmed when his daughters Maimuna Kwekwe (17) and Idaya Chizi (15) joined sports giants Kaya Tiwi School in Kwale County.

The father of seven daughters shed more tears after his daughters, clothed in tatters, were given full uniform and shopping by school principal, Robert Aran and Board of Management Chairman George Mokaya.

“I walked to both MCA and MP’s offices asking for bursary but was told to wait until second term. I feel let down by leaders we voted for,” he said.Mr Aran said the school was touched by the story of the bright students.

Aran said the school provided all requirements needed for a student to be admitted at the institution and called on well-wishers to support the girls.

The girls thanked the school for admitting them. “We shall give our best to emerge victorious after four years in the school,” said Chizi and Kwekwe, who want to become doctors.
