“Nonsense Otiende!” Miguna takes Raila ally through online dictionary as they engage bitterly over oath

Firebrand exiled Lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna on Wednesday took to an online war with ODM Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo as they differed over NASA leader Raila Odinga’s dramatic swearing in ceremony at Uhuru Park early last year.

This followed the revelations Miguna Miguna had made in his new book dubbed TREASON.

In the book, Miguna admits that he commissioned and administered Raila’s oath, but Otiende comes in to deny his allegations, arguing that Miguna only witnessed the oath which was self administered.

“When you calm down, you’ll Understand “Administering”, as opposed to “ Witnessing”. Dr Miguna Miguna Witnessed the Oath, earlier, but did not Administer. I repeat, the Oath Was Self Administered…But then again, what does it matter..?” posted Otiende.

In a response to Rarieda MP’s post, Miguna terms the allegations as nonsense, digging deep in the role of a commissioner of oaths.

He explains that One of the most important duties of a Commissioner for Oaths and/or a Notary Public is to administer oaths and affirmations, which are solemn promises of truthfulness made by a signer, witness, or new office-holder.

“Nonsense, Otiende. “One of the most important duties of a Commissioner for Oaths and/or a Notary Public is to administer oaths and affirmations, which are solemn promises of truthfulness made by a signer, witness, or new office-holder” – online dictionary.  ,” his post read.
