Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter Becomes Guest of the State After Latest Arrest

Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter is finally a guest of the state after Police arrested him this afternoon.

Keter has been arrested after the High Court issued a warrant of arrest against him for failing  to appear at the Milimani Law Courts for the mention of a case in which he is charged with forging Sh633 Treasury Bills.

Chief magistrate Francis Andayi issued the warrant on Thursday.

Keter has been charged alongside two co-directors of Desai Industries – Madat Chatur and Arthur Sakwa.

They were dramatically arrested by officers from the DCI’s Banking Fraud Investigation Unit at Central Bank of Kenya offices on February 16, 2018.

The three were nabbed after allegedly presenting a set of forged Treasury bills which were purportedly issued by the CBK a number of years ago.

Their case will be mentioned on February 14.
