Giorgio Chiellini has picked up an injury and that’s causing concern at Juventus.
The Turin club have been well covered in defence in recent seasons but saw Mehdi Benatia leave the club during the current transfer window, so it’s only natural that they suffer a defensive injury.

On Wednesday claims came from Italy that the club had opened talks to sign Bruno Alves, the Portuguese veteran who was with Rangers last season. That’s the situation Juve apparently now find themselves in.

The Chelsea defender is out of the picture under Maurizio Sarri and had been linked with multiple clubs during the January transfer window.
If he could somehow end up at Juventus before the end of the day then it would certainly be a big move for the former England international, even if he’s going to spend all his time on the bench.
