Barcelona have made their move on transfer deadline day and completed the loan signing of Sao Paulo forward Gabriel Novaes with an option to buy.
The 19-year-old reportedly had a medical on Wednesday afternoon after travelling to Spain. He played for the Brazilian side’s Under 20s and is expected to be integrated into the Barcelona B team, according to Globoesporte. Novaes had also been linked with a move to Sevilla this month. He has signed a year-and-a-half loan deal on the back of finishing as the top scorer in the recent Sao Paulo Youth Cup. He scored 10 goals as they won on penalties against Vasco de Gama.
The La Liga table-toppers have confirmed that midfielder, Dennis Suarez will return to the Premier League, but this time to play for Arsenal on loan until the end of the season with the option to sign him permanently.
