Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has today represented the country in the World AidsFree Cities Global Forum which was held in London United Kingdom.
Mike Sonko has managed to secure a commitment to fight eradicate HIV/AIDS in the major cities:
“The Nairobi City County Government together with London, Atlanta, Maputo, Delhi and Kiev cities have signed a commitment deliver promises made in the 2014 Paris declaration to stop HIV during the
#AIDSfree cities Global forum.”
HIV/AIDS has been a national disaster but the government has since laid major steps and measures to ensure that it does not thrive.
Most international organization have more than often jumped in to help the country fight with this menace. This could include WHO who have been on the forefront to make sure that it is eradicated.
