With transfer rumors linking him with a move to Bayern Munich, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi failed to give a straight answer when asked about interest from the German giants.
Hudson-Odoi scored a brilliant goal in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday as Chelsea advanced to the fifth round of the tournament. The English winger was serenaded by the home fans at Stamford Bridge who chanted “Callum Hudson-Odoi, we want you to stay!” to convince him to commit his future at the club and reject a move to Munich.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Hudson-Odoi was asked if the Sheffield Wednesday game was his last appearance in a Chelsea shirt, “I dunno. I can’t say you know. I just keep working hard and you never know what happens.” When pressed to answer if he is in talks with Bayern Munich, the winger replied, “I can’t say. I haven’t. I haven’t had that chat.”
