Embattled Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori reveals how Joho threw him in hot soup

Is Governor oo1 the one behind Embattled Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori’s ouster from ODM party? Well, the lawmaker is however still confident, but has made shocking revelations on Joho’s involvement in his woes with Raila Odinga-led Party!

The legislator has accused Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho of being behind his woes.

“There are people who call themselves with big names such as Sultan. I want to tell him that the country is governed by the rule of law. We  are no longer in the era of sultans and kings,” he said.

He also told his critics that he is not afraid of being expelled from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

The legislator said he was focused to serving his constituents.

Speaking on Saturday during a funds drive in Nyumba Mbovu, Mr Dori said he was elected by the people of Msambweni and not by the party. He called for calm among his supporters.

“I am still your leader and as far as I’m concerned, it is the party leadership that is planning to kick me out and not the voters,” he said.

Mr Dori assured his supporters that he would overcome the challenges facing him.

He expressed confidence of retaining the seat, should he be subjected to a by-election.

Mr Dori said that he respected party leader Raila Odinga and that he had no problem working with him and other leaders.

He, however, claimed that he was being targeted by a few selfish leaders in ODM.

Mr Dori and his Malindi counterpart Aisha Jumwa are facing disciplinary actions for supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

On Thursday, ODM’s National Executive Committee adopted the disciplinary committee’s recommendation to expel them from the party.
