“Kenyans artists are hungry” Akothee takes plea to politicians

Vocal Female Artist Akothee has taken her plea to top politicians in regard to the plight of artists.

Akothee called upon the politicians to  show their full support to artists who are faced with challenges in their music business.

The Singer was speaking during an interview on Mseto East Africa when she got the opportunity to  pour her heart out.

Although Akothee says she has no direct relationship with politicians considering that their line of work is different, she says that her major concern is to offer a helping hand in fixing the entertainment industry.

The ‘lotto’ hit maker says that  Kenyan artists are hungry and what they get from the business is nothing much to sustain their needs.

Artists play a key role in shaping of the morals and values in the society, apart from their entertainment role.
