Kenya shines in SportPesa super cup

Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia will play against Mbao FC in the second day of Sportpesa Super cup.

Kogalo who are the defending champions of the tournament will seek to replicate the performance of other Kenyans team Bandari and Kariobangi Sharks who won their opening matches on the first day of the tournament.

Bandari beat Singida united 1- 0 with Ugandan import William Wadri in the score sheet in the 68 minute.

The second match of the day will see AFC Leopards play against Tanzanian league champions Simba who knocked them out in the previous tournament.

The winner of this match will play against the winner between Gor and Mbao.

Sharks head coach William Muluya said “I was happy with the win despite scoring a goal on penalty and we hope to continue winning.”

His fellow country man Mwalala was also happy with the victory saying he is looking forward to the next match
