Former NTV news anchor Trevor Ombija is back to our screens.

After speculations that the tv anchor had been poached  by Royal Media services Citizen TV, it is now clear that he actually will be working at the mega TV station.

This came after the station launched a new programme that is set to premier on Monday.

The station assigned BBC Komla award winner Waihiga Mwaura, Trevor Ombija and Mashirima Kapombe as hosts of its Monday Prime Time news bulletin dubbed “Monday Report”.

In promos running on their social media pages, Citizen TV management has introduced a new Segment that will kick off January 28th, 2019, combining the three experienced anchors to deliver news to its wide audience.

This will be Trevor Ombija’s new assignment, Waihiga will be shifting from his previous position of anchoring news on Friday. Kapombe will be adding another stone upon her previous assignments of anchoring Citizen Nipashe every Thursday.
