Major suspects in Garissa failed attack arrested

 

The police in conjunction with the Kenya Defense force begun quick investigation into an attempted attack in Shimbirey Garissa.

The police have so far reported to have arrested to people who are believed to be part of the group that had planned the attack.

The close sources reveal that the group of attackers are believed to be from a terrorist group Al Shabaab.

The foiled attack left 2 people injured; a guard and a woman.

The attack was targeting a group of workers in the road construction site, who included Kenya Citizens and Chinese nationals.

The success of repulsion and preventing the attack is given to the KDF soldiers who engaged them in a heated gun fight that left few killed while others escaped with gun injuries.

Most Kenyans have also taken up on social media to congratulate them so such spirited efforts and bravery to take on the attackers preventing more blood shed.

This comes as the country is still healing from the Dusit Terror attack along Riverside Drive in Nairobi which left 21 people dead and others nursing injuries.

The police are still carrying out numerous investigation to bring all the suspects to book as so far 8 people are being held in police custody.
