Photos: Ruto visits victims of Dusit attack in Hospital

 

Deputy President William Ruto yesterday visited victims of the Dusit Attack in Hospital.

The Deputy President was accompanied to the hospital with other leaders  including Elgeyo Marakwet County Senator,Kipchumba Murkomen.

Yesterday  evening, the Inspector general issued the final tally of those who lost lives and the hospitalized.

Boinnet said that as at yesterday, 28 persons were admitted in various hospitals in Nairobi.

Although many were rescued alive, Kenyans are still praying for those who are still nursing injuries and trauma.

The Kenya Red Cross is playing a key role in ensuring that these people get the  help they need.

The Deputy President gave words of hope and encouragement to those in hospital as Kenyans continue in prayer glad that we have overcome and stood strong.

Ruto joins in the leaders who condemned the attack and  the visit was a sign of standing with Kenyans in time of the tragedy.

President  Kenyatta during his press statement yesterday thanked Kenyans for standing in solidarity and going all the way out to be helpful and being their brothers keepers.

Kenyans cooperated with the police as well as other emergency agencies in the spirit of not bowing to the criminal acts.

These generous and kind doing by the nation will leave a mark for a long time to remind us of the undying love of the nation.
