A Few hours after Kenyans went up in arms against the New York Times after it published images that show dead victims of the terror attack at Dusit complex in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenyan based People Daily has won the hearts of many Kenyans with it’s headline today.
The headline titled “KENYA UNBOWED” all but proved that Kenya remains steadfast in all her undertakings despite the happenings of yesterday that have since seen a number of people loose their lives and others injured.
Other local Dailies have however faced the wrath of Kenyans for using headlines that dispelled fear and anxiety among Citizens.
“The @PeopleDailyKe got it’s headline right, kudos for resisting the urge to go for ‘shock value’ like the rest of our major dailies. Rather, they chose to reassure and embolden the national psyche.” tweeted @Collins__Kibet
“We shall revisit these headlines when the dust settles. From me, People Daily, has the best.” tweeted @@MarvinGakunyi
