Social media has been a powerful tool to the success story of the rescue mission of Dusit terror attack. With no doubt it has helped the mission turn out to be successful than the Westgate attack which turned out to be so horrific.
The rescue of victims who were stuck in the buildings such credit can be given to effective use of social media platforms especially Twitter.
Most people who were stuck in the building were given numbers to communicate directly to the police officers who were in charge of the operation as a result more lives were saved.
Please note that we now have two official tracing hotline numbers:0715 820219 and 1199. #Riversideattack

What will go down in history is Kenyans spirited efforts which made New York Times Twitter Photo account to be suspended for publishing uncensored photos of the people brutally murdered.
Don’t publish images here that you wouldn’t on your home turf. Apologize, delete. Don’t repeat. Be better. Know better. Learn. #DeportKimiko may or may not be the answer, but there’s a lesson in learning from the past to be had here. I hope it’s a wake up call. #RiversideAttack

The Kenyans also in conjunction with Red Cross managed to run successful campaigns calling on Kenyans to go donate blood to some of the victims of the attack.
In what played a vital role in combating the killing rates , most Kenyans reached out at each other to avoid calling the people who were stuck in the building thus helped to keep the attackers off their reach.
Praying for everyone affected by the #RiversideAttack in Nairobi ❤️🙏🙏 pic.twitter.com/SE8AKHLIx9
