Mauricio Pochettino admits Tottenham could be set for a “massive” blow after Harry Kane limped off at full-time of Spurs’ defeat to Manchester United.
The England striker was caught late by Victor Lindelof in the closing stages of United’s 1-0 win at Wembley.
Kane was in obvious discomfort with what appeared to be an ankle problem and Pochettino says it was a “bad tackle” – and that he is worried for the fitness of his talisman.
“My worry is that it was a bad tackle in the last moment,” said the Argentine.

“It wasn’t the intention of the United player but it was a bad tackle and now he has bit of a swelling on his ankle and he was limping after the game.
“We are going to lose Son for the Asia Cup and if Harry Kane suffers an injury, it is going to be massive for us.”
Kane failed to find the net having been consistently thwarted by magnificent United goalkeeper David De Gea.
The Spaniard made a string of incredible saves from Kane and his teammates to preserve his clean sheet and United’s slender lead.
Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time, firing past Hugo Lloris on the angle after a sumptuous lobbed through ball from Paul Pogba.
