Kenyan Popular Band; Le Band have today joined in the music vs media conversation
The team has been in the music industry for about 4 years now and their music game has been holding the industry together with other artists.
The Band have made demands of an equal opportunity as that of other artists.
In the bid to promote Kenyan music, the band says that other artists outside Kenya are supported by theirs thus have made the money to better their content.
Other countries such as Nigeria have been implementing this and clearly it is working for them.
Top Nigerian Artist Rude Boy speaking during an interview on the media, he asks fans to support Nigerian content.
He also adds that the Nigerian media is already out there for them and therefore artists have no excuse of not making it in the industry.
Le Band have called on the media to support artists and give them a level ground to compete in the International market.
Other artists who have kept this conversation hot include Vivian, Khaligraph Jones,
With the voices getting louder, there is hope for change in the industry

All we want is an equal opportunity. other artists outside Kenya are supported by theirs thus have made the money to better their content. Support us! Give us level ground to compete. Others have 80% plus quotas for their music on local stations. Allow us to compete pic.twitter.com/DMG1HiGaob— Le Band (@leband254) January 10, 2019
