The pre-match build-up to Tottenham’s clash at home to Manchester United may be predominantly focused on the two men at the helm, Mauricio Pochettino and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but one player will hope to steal the spotlight at Wembley.
Harry Kane is currently in a fascinating battle for the 2018/19 Golden Boot with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mo Salah – Kane and Aubameyang lead the way on 14 goals, one ahead of holder Salah – however, the England superstar has another incentive to find the back of the net on Sunday afternoon.

Should Kane score against Solskjaer’s side – who have won all five games under the Norwegian – he would propel his overall Premier League tally to a whopping 123 goals, and in the process draw level with a certain Manchester United legend, Dwight Yorke.
The former Red Devils striker fired in 123 Premier League goals during his time in England, bagging 48 for United, 60 for Aston Villa, 12 at Rovers, two at Birmingham, and one in his final spell at Sunderland.
In total Yorke played 375 Premier League matches, while to date Kane has only played 174 matches, meaning if he scores on Sunday he would have amassed the same goal tally as Yorke, but in 200 fewer games!
Kane, currently 17th in the overall goalscorer standings, is likely to end the season up in 13th spot as he needs only six goals to jump above Yorke (123), Nicolas Anelka (125), Robbie Keane (126), and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (127). However, Kane has some way to go if he’s to ever surpass Alan Shearer who holds the record with a staggering 260 goals in the Premier League era.
