First was Catherine Namunye and now Bruce Odhiambo. Both were adversely mentioned in the Youth Enterprise Fund scandal. They are going down one by one but whoever is after them, remains a “mystery”.
Odhiambo died at Nairobi Hospital where he was admitted because of a heart problem.
Ms Namuye and former Youths Fund board chairman Bruce Odhiambo were charged with 12 counts of corruption in relation to the loss of Sh180 million of taxpayers’ money in 2016.
Also charged were the directors of Quorandum Ltd, Mukuria Ngamau and Doreen Waithera.
Ms Namuye and Mr Odhiambo were accused of receiving Sh4.5 million and Sh1.8 million in kickbacks from Quorandum that prosecutors said “they had reasons to believe was corruptly acquired from the Youth Enterprise Development Fund.”
Christians are very funny. Everybody is glorifying Bruce Odhiambo , talking about the good things he did. #RIPBruceOdhiambo , you death is a lesson to me that money can’t buy life. You did good and bad things equally. pic.twitter.com/L9j9LFgtpM

As much as Kenyans have flocked the internet with messages of praise to Odhiambo, some are still irked with the graft cases that followed him during his tenure at the Youths Fund enterprise. They have strongly accused the pretence among Keyans.
It’s ironic how Kenyans are now sanctifying the late Bruce Odhiambo yet he’s one of those who embezzled money meant for the Youths of this country.
