Bruce Odhiambo’s life, Ksh 180 M Fund Scandal and ailment

Bruce Odhiambo was born  in Siaya County. He was a music producer and former chairman of youth enterprise and development fund boss.He is also a musician who played with the legendary Mombasa-based Safari Sound Band and the Spartans.

Bruce Odhiambo 180 million Scandal

During his time as the chairman of the Youth Enterprise and Development Fund Kshs. 180 million disappeared and he was accused of sacking the funds former finance manager Benedict Atavachi yet he was not authorized to do so. Atavachi is the whistle-blower of the scam. Odhiambo then appointed Catherine Namuye and made her the sole signatory to the account from which the KSh 180 million disappeared mysteriously.

While sacking Benedict Atavachi, Parliamentary Investment Committee noted that Bruce Odhiambo copied the sacking letter to embattled former Devolution and Planning CS Anne Waiguru.

Bruce Odhiambo Cause of Death

Odhiambo died on Tuesday morning at the Nairobi Hospital Intensive Care Unit after a long battle with cardiac ailments.

In 2018 October, Odhiambo went to India to replace his pacemaker that had been implanted under the skin to help manage irregular heartbeats.

He returned to Kenya in November but his body developed more complications that led to his admission to hospital.
