Liverpool have reportedly made a massive bid to sign Abdulkadir Omur from Trabzonspor.

Turkish publication Aksam are reporting that Premier League leaders have made an offer for one of the hottest young properties in European football this week with a move this month possible.

Omur is regarded as one of the best young Turkish players in the game and Jurgen Klopp could be looking to boost his Liverpool squad following the departure of Dominc Solanke to Bournemouth this week.

The 19-year-old is earning himself a growing reputation from midfield with two goals and three assists to his name so far in the top flight in Turkey and that appears to have alerted interest from Klopp, if this latest story is to be believed.

Adam Lallana has been linked with a move to Turkey as well this week which is interesting in light of this latest story with the Liverpool manager clearly assessing his options ahead of a massive second half of the season.

Omur is a little known player in England but he looks an exciting prospect with his ability to play across various positions in midfield likely to appeal.

Liverpool have been criticised at times for their workmanlike style in midfield this term following the collapse of the Nabil Fekir deal last summer and it could be that the Turkish player would offer the Reds some creativity in midfield if he does arrive in England.

The Anfield coffers have already been boosted this month Solanke moving to Bournemouth for close to £20m but the transfer rumours about potential in-comings continue to swirl with Omur the latest name in the frame.
