After being used sparingly by manager Pep Guardiola, Manchester City midfielder Brahim Diaz is reportedly close to agreeing on a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Diaz has been heavily linked with Real Madrid since the summer transfer window and according to ESPN, the youngster could complete the move in the next 48 hours.
The Spaniard’s contract expires at the end of the season and Real Madrid are reportedly willing to cough up €15m for his services.
Diaz was however seen in Friday’s training session ahead of Manchester City’s FA Cup tie against Rotherham United.
Further reports have indicated that a deal worth €65k-a-week will be handed to Diaz, who has scored twice in four appearances this season but is yet to feature in the Premier League.
