With the departure of Aaron Ramsey to Juventus looming large, Arsenal are close to agreeing on a deal for Barcelona midfielder Dennis Suarez.
Ramsey’s contract runs out at the end of the season and according to reports, the midfielder is set to sign a pre-contract with Juventus that will see him join the Italian giants at the end of the season.
Suarez has been a peripheral figure at Barcelona this season and has been reduced to just six appearances so far. Arsenal are hoping to sign the Spaniard as Ramsey’s replacement after he worked with manager Unai Emery during their time at Sevilla.
It is reported that Suarez will cost Arsenal up to £14 million with the midfielder already having English football experience as he came up the ranks at the Manchester City Academy.
