Recently the deputy president graduated with a PhD in plant ecology. Ruto was the only one who graduated with the degree in plant ecology, so was the situation with other graduands in the other doctoral disciplines.
Well days later,Atheist president in Kenya Harrison Mumia took to twitter to criticize DP William Ruto after he stepped out in jacket printed on Dr Ruto. He claimed Doctors don’t go around printing their titles on jackets rather write academic papers.
Do Doctors go around printing their titles on Jackets? So ‘Doctor Ruto’ wants the whole village to know he is doc???!!!
Doctors write academic papers. They don’t print titles on clothes! pic.twitter.com/AiX3JDHhvB— President™ – Atheists In Kenya Society (@harrisonmumia) December 31, 2018
While a user openly challenged him; ‘Why would atheists advertise themselves?? For identity right??’, other Kenyans were quick to judge Ruto’s degree as fake and the court printings as a hilarious stunt.

However a small number came to the Deputy President’s rescue.
He printed his title not yours

He did not sacrifice all that time in school to hide his achievements!!! If one feels offended, they should go back to school and earn the title (Dr) too!! Kila nyani na starehe zake!!

Do you really think he would commission that garish jacket himself??!? It was given to him at the bull-fighting ceremony in Ikolomani in Kakamega county.
