Here is what Manchester United boss did before Cardiff victory

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he urged his charges not to be outworked by any team before the Cardiff City tie.

The Red Devils responded in spectacular fashion after going down 3-1 to Liverpool the previous weekend, a result that proved to be Jose Mourinho’s final straw at Manchester United.

Goals from Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and a brace from Jesse Lingard got Solskjaer’s tenure off to a perfect start while Victor Camarasa gave Cardiff the consolation goal.

Solskjaer revealed what he told the Manchester United players before the Cardiff City game.

“One of the things I talked about today is that a Manchester United team should never ever be outworked, doesn’t matter what team you play, you should run more than them and then your skills will give you a chance of winning again.
