Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he will have input over transfer despite his status as caretaker boss at Manchester United.
Mourinho was sacked on Tuesday morning after a poor run of results that saw United win only two of his final eight matches in charge in all competitions.
The 3-1 loss to arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday left the Red Devils 11 points off the top four and 19 points adrift of Jurgen Klopp’s men, who occupy the Premier League summit.
“The first game is about giving my principles to the boys, getting them to understand how I want them to play, how we want to play as a team,” Ole says. “Then we’ll start looking at results and seeing how many points we can gather.” #MUFC

Solskjaer replace Jose Mourinho as caretaker boss on Tuesday, and he became a fans’ favourite after spending 11 seasons as a player at United.
The former Norway international has been tasked with bringing a feel-good factor back to Old Trafford, and he has claimed he will have an input on transfer at the club.
“I will have an input of course but the job now is to get to know the players, observe them and see the qualities they possess,” he told reporters.
“I have seen more or less every game from Norway when I’ve had time. I have to get to know the players, and see what I can help them improve on.
“The club has their recruitment and scouting so I’m sure they’ve got their targets.”
