From selling firewood to fame in the music industry; Msupa S tells her story

Kenyan Controversial rapper Msupa S   has  narrated her journey and struggle before fame. She admitted that she went through so many hardships.

This was during an interview on one of the Kenyan local radio station. It has not been an easy journey for  her she says.

Speaking on her path to her music career, the singer says it began with a great hustle and after she finished secondary education.

“In our place you had to get an informal  job so that you can survive.I used to got to a school which was located so fast. After school I used to farm and get paid for it” she said

The rapper also said that she used to carry and sell firewood.

“There were women who noticed that I could sing and they invited be to an occasion and gave me a chance to perform a Kalenjin song during the celebrations and they praised me for it. It is in school that I realized that I can rap and I can sing”

Msupa S has been hitting the studio since 2013 where she recorded her first song. Her Producer noticed that she can rap and in 2014  Msupa S dropped another song which had  positive reactions.

She finished high school in 2017  and after school, she started going to big studios. “I needed to wake up and do something that will give me money and make me proud of myself .” she says

On Khaligraph Jones efforts to support her music,  Msupa S says that she is grateful that Khaligraph Jones has been of impact in her music career.
