In rather unsurprising Kenya Premier League news, AFC Leopards has lost yet another manager! If there ever was a certain occurrence to bet on in the Country, politicians lying to voters and AFC Leopards losing a manager barely five games into the season definitely should be on the top of the list.
The loss was made official today when Nikola Kavazovic was confirmed at the new head coach for South African side Free State Stars.
Free State Stars have been linked with Kavazovic ever since they sacked yet another Former Leopards manager Eymael back in early November. It almost feels like every other football coach plying his trade in the continent has had a stint at the Den.

Speaking to soccerladuma, Stars general manager Rantsi Mokoena, was confident that Kavazovic would turn their season around, “We are confident that he is the man who will get us back to winning ways after we struggled in the first half of the season.”
AFC are yet to conjure up a win in the Premier League this season, losing once and drawing the other. Kenya’s second most successful football club is currently 15th on the log with a single point. Next up in the league, they come up against Sofapaka FC.
Early signs do not point to this being the season when the giant awakes, much needs to change for such to happen. Keeping hold manager should be a good start!
