Well, Kenya has lost quite a number of people who mean alot especially in the entertainment industry, starting with E-sar in 2003 he happened to be one of the fast rising stars of the time, then K-Rupt, Lady s just to mention a few.
About ten years ago Kenyan reggae/hip pop artist Nazizi Hirji lost her only brother who was also in the entertainment industry Feroz Hirji to a road accident a tragedy that saw CMB (Cash Money Brothers) a group he had formed together with Prezzo, suffer a big loss.
While celebrating the life of his brother Nazizi took to her social media account to pen down a sweet touching message stating that the day he died remains to be one of the worst days of her life.
She post, “16.12.06 still remains one of the worst days of my life … i dont know how i have made it 12 yrs without you. I love you sooooo much and i miss the strength you gave me .
R.I.P my brother till we meet again. R.I.P gates #sad #alone”
Nazizi is a celebrated Kenyan artist who have released hit singles like Kenyan gal Kenyan boy, Bless my room, let’s get down, Fire anthem, Kube, Forever, Tension, jump n shout amongst others.
As well as curtain raised for international artists SEAN PAUL and WAYNE WONDER in Kenya, AKON in Tanzania AND Uganda, MARLON ASHER in Uganda and most recently JULIAN MARLEY and ANDREW TOSH in Ethiopia. She has toured 6 American states and 5 European countries in the last two years.
