The incidences of Nyeri Women whipping their husbands has been the common thing happening in that county. But earlier today the same was alleged extended to the Governors offices.
From the people close to the governor claimed that Governor Mutahi Kahiga has been disciplined by her Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu. According to the online source, Governor Kahiga was beaten by a glass of water and hurt by the Deputy Governor in an misunderstanding that emerged during the meeting that both were in attendance.
I HEAR from grapevine that Nyeri Deputy Governor (the lady) threw a water glass at the Governor and injured him. I treat it as a rumour. But if Kahiga were to throw a glass at the lady and injure her, Nairobi and Nyeri would be burning with every female NGO in the streets.

This has caused a lot of online debate from the people expressing different opinion about the future of the two leaders in serving the people of Nyeri.
The force and intensity of the messages that were flying across social media has forced the Nyeri Governor Kahiga to call for a press conference in attempts to clear the air.

According to Hon.Kahiga they are in good terms with Caroline Karugu. He has distanced himself from the online claim that they fought with her Deputy.

Governor Kahiga has said that the claims are being peddled around by his haters who want his administration to fail to deliver to the people of Nyeri.
