Manchester United in good spirit ahead of weekend action

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho faced the media on Friday ahead of weekend’s match against Fulham on Saturday 8th at Old Trafford.

Mourinho admitted he is yet again facing another difficult team selection for the home match against Cottagers.

He confirmed the club will have to wait for conclusions for players like Anthony Martial, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones who are doubtful.

“[We are] still waiting for conclusions, still waiting for people like Martial, Smalling, Jones – people with this kind of doubts,“ said Jose.

”But there is a good spirit and people are putting themselves on the line like Chris did in the last match and Jones did against Southampton. That’s important when we have so many matches and problems with some players,” he added.

The club is set to welcome Ashley Young back to the squad after missing midweek’s clash against Arsenal as he was serving a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards in the league. The Red Devils will be without Victor Lindelof and Alexis Sanchez who are out injured.
