Kenyans have maintained disquiet over the move by the County Government of Nairobi to deny access into the CBD all public service vehicles [PSVs] starting Monday 3rd December but is this decision as bad as many have portrayed it to be?
According to research, cities around the world have a system that ensures that there is order in the movement of public means of transport through the city centre to avoid overcrowding and congestion as is witnessed every day within Kenya’s capital.
Some Kenyans are however not very shocked by this challenging fellow Nairobians to do some research and realize that this is a practice that is common around the world where there are designated spots for the PSVs to drop and pick passengers.
This might however not be the case with Kenya as various factors seem not to have been put in place befpre implementation of the move including security concerns, convenience, costs of implementation and how it impacts on the common citizens among others.

The situation however seems to be worse than any leader thought about and loads of people are seen mobbing foot bridges as they head to work clearly frustrated by the decision from their government to force them into gym at the wrong time clearly leaving them sweaty as they reported for duty.
Babu Owino has dropped a bomb reaction on the Matatu CBD ban by relating the situation to a diarrhea scenario. Many have shared their opinions but this particular one from the youthful Embakasi East MP has made Kenyans.
The youthful MP believes that the decision will have to be rescinded otherwise the people will resist it and force their way through to the CBD. Babu Owino equates the Matatu Ban to ‘Diarrhea’ a condition that can not be controlled or be held back somehow one has to let things out. The MP says that by blocking this from happening things might explode.
MADNESS!#MatatuCBDBan has been prematurely implemented. You cannot ban Matatus from accessing Nairobi CBD without a well developed mass transit system within the CBD.
