The extremes that people go to to make money in the current times is pretty worrying. Many people are engaging in very crazy deals just to earn the coin.
Although one may defend them saying it is their efforts perhaps would be more interesting if one would consider placing their energy in less controversial spaces that will help them have their dignity intact.
If you think it is only Kenyans youth who have practiced these extremes then you are wrong. Different parts of the blog are seeing the drama too.
Among the youth unemployment can be the most frustrating thing that can happen. Being unemployed for a whole year in this economy is even worse.
The many activities in the towns makes it seem like there is hope we see the hustle . We get carried away.we fail to notice that even amid all these activities there is one in the corners that might be left out for many reasons.
The unemployed youth may end up so desperate that they would take any deal that comes next. This could be anything even what is termed as illegal.
While many young ladies may turn to the easy cash offered by sponsors. That is the reality and who knows what this world will be like in the next 5 years. I picture chaos, confusion and the end of morality; a people that cannot be tamed by the law.
Earlier today I came across a video of a Nigerian Woman who was advertising that people can call her for a sex video call at a price.
Speaking in the video, the lady says that she charges 40,000 Naira which is equivalent to 11265.44 Kenyan shillings and this is for only one call not the whole humanity she insisted.
The lady begins her ‘advert’ by saying that those who have been asking her for sex video calls can now get it but after paying the charges.
This video triggered a lot of reactions online with some saying that it is pure madness and should be condemned. Others linked it to the rising poverty level saying that the world has come to a point where people can do anything for the money.
There is nothing we will not see and if this is not dealt with, we are breeding a generation that will be uncontrolled and misguided.
Although some shamed this act others made fun and seemingly entertained the matter. Maybe some even slid to her DM.
